Jo Richards Hooker's ceramic sculptures are hand crafted with the intention to create beautiful organic forms reflecting her love and fascination of nature.

Inspired and fascinated by the diversities and similarities of different species Jo is drawn to the varying forms, textures and colours of the natural world especially our native species. Such as our stunning Pohutukawa which is often inhabited by our beloved cheeky and highly social piwawakawa. Jo likes to think of them as messengers for those who have passed before us.
