Jo Richards Hooker is an established New Zealand Artist working in a variety of materials including ceramics, glass and stone. Her work is calming and uplifting with lovely lines and flow. Form and shadow are pivotal in her sculpture work. Themes of movement such as birds and boats are threaded throughout her work as well as shapes inspired by organic forms particularly leaves, water, trees and landscapes. Jo Lives in the Coromandel where the ocean and landscape are reflected in her work.
