We are all in this Together
He waka eke noa
~ We are all in this together
Whakatauki (maori proverb)
A waka moves through the sea of life, tūi flying above as ancestor spirits watching over those below. The waves, the hills, the wings - all decorated with kōwhaiwhai, all connected, each part holding the others up. When we care for each other, we all move forward. When everyone has a place and knows they matter, the whole waka travels further. This print is for any home, school, or workplace that believes in those values - a reminder that every person in the waka counts, and that looking out for each other is never wasted. The literal translation of this whakatauki is 'A waka we are all in with no exception'.
