Emma Turner's studio practice is full of colour, creativity and storytelling. She has been developing her craft since graduating with a Diploma in Art and Design from the Dunedin Art School with a focus on ceramics. She is inspired by our everyday surroundings and how we attach memories to everyday objects. She loves to decorate with colourful slips and pencils, creating abstract patterns and lines that are playful and naive.
