Since beginning her journey in ceramics in 2015, Emma has continually honed her craft, culminating in her graduation with a Diploma in Art and Design, specialising in ceramics, from the Dunedin Art School in 2020.
She draws inspiration from urban landscapes, varied perspectives, and the way we connect memories with everyday items. Influences from naive art and whimsical doodles also permeate her work, infusing it with a playful and imaginative spirit. An active member of the Canterbury pottery community, Emma teaches workshops and classes throughout the year, sharing her passion and expertise with others.
