Marita makes things that work aesthetically and functionally in her home, with the hope they fit in to others’ as well.
"My work is a response to the rhythms of my life; being a wife and mother, being a Catholic, a gardener, and getting through the life's daily challenges with a sense of humour. I aim for a sense of light and freedom in my work, and sometimes a bit of thought provocation. My favourite things to make are tumblers and cups, because tea and coffee, and all drinks really, are such a daily ritual. I like the thought of sharing that common experience with my customers."
