The rib stitch pattern of this scarf is designed to be reminiscent of water cascading over rocks on its way down the river. Made from Otago Polwarth wool and a uniquely New Zealand wild breed of ancient Merino wool called Arapawa. It has been processed without superwash treatments to preserve the character of these unique fibres. Hand wash with care.
Dimensions: 180mm x 85mm
These wrist warmers act as a sleeve extension or place your thumb in the opening and have warm hands with fingers free to explore, swipe or play.
Knit Shepherd's designs take inspiration from the natural world of Aotearoa. The patterns are inspired by locations throughout the motu and the colours names reference our native fauna. All Knit Shepherd designs are produced locally, employing a low-waste process.
Sarah Shepherd is the textile designer behind Knit Shepherd, a textile design studio where traditional craft meets modern technology. Sarah's goal is to tell the stories of New Zealand's natural fibres and their origin through beautiful textiles.
