Brad Novak's work explores two key themes; The first, the fluid nature of identity about challenging society’s instinct to categorise and confine. Brad lives this idea himself, balancing dual careers as a professional artist and public health doctor.
The second, The digital dilemma, questions whether technology has truly advanced our sense of connection and wellbeing or, as Brad suggests, distanced us further from one another.
Brad Novak is the first New Zealand artist to exhibit alongside both pop art and street art greats — including Warhol, Haring, Lichtenstein, Obey, Brainwash, and Banksy (Toronto, 2015).
