Justin Culina is a glass artist whose practice blends traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility. After studying Glass Production and Design, Justin honed his skills alongside both New Zealand and international artists, developing a distinctive approach to ancient techniques such as cane roll-ups, murrine, incalmo, filigree, and latticino. His work is deeply influenced by his connection to nature, particularly the coastal landscapes that inspire his forms and colour palettes. Justin's work continues to explore the expressive potential of glass with a deep respect for the material and the natural world.
