Tohorā – Te Whānau Puha Banner features the Tohorā / Southern Right Whale. Te Whanau Puha means ‘of the family that breathes air’. The Southern Right Whale is framed by the sun, moon, and a comet, reminiscent of vintage sideshow banners and reflecting the whale within the natural cosmos.
