Needle felting and hand stitching
140mm Diameter x 70mm Deep (tallest point of protrusions)
Jenny Pullar’s passion for textiles was sparked when her needlework teacher introduced her to the art of freestyle machine embroidery. Over time, her inspiration has evolved to reflect her interests in the moment—often drawn from her deep appreciation for wildlife. She is particularly captivated by the needle felting process, which transforms simple sheep’s wool into intricate three-dimensional forms using a barbed needle. Jenny describes the process as a meditative beginning with a concept and raw materials which gradually take shape through hours of patient work.
