An elegant long leaf design made from up-cycled glass that has been shaped, then "slumped" in the kiln, tumbled smooth and sandblasted with a leaf vein motif representing tawa leaves.
Tawa may not be as well known as the more iconic native trees like the pōhutukawa, kōwhai, rimu, cabbage tree, nīkau, etc, but it's long slender willow-like leaves are such a great shape for inspiring an earring design.
