Decorated with slip mixed with local Banks Peninsula sand and blue oxide stamps made from found crushed shells.

Anna's work is strongly influenced by her background in illustration and family life by the sea. Spending hours on the beaches of Banks Peninsula with her kids, gathering shoreline treasures, swimming and sketching.

Particularly attracted to surface decoration techniques, Anna explores textures, stamping, sgraffito and underglaze pencil drawings. Liking the visual conversation between the form and the illustration, trying to find some kind of aesthetic balance for each piece.
