Cast glass Kina (sea urchin) in a variety of colours
Rebecca’s eye for colour is used to great effect in these pieces, the results are both playful and formally striking. Each urchin in this collection is created using a mould made from sea urchin shells found on Motuora Island in the Hauraki Gulf.
Small - 42mm
Medium - 47mm

Please note: due to monitor variations, the true colour may differ slightly from what you see on screen. Although essentially identical please allow for minor differences from the glass pictured here, as each piece is handmade.
Special Effect with Hyacinth Kina: this glass is true to colour under daylight and incandescent bulbs. They can look steel blue under some fluorescent tubes which do not produce the full light spectrum.
