Inspiration for Kirsty’s CUP collection is drawn from her coastal surroundings in Eastbourne, Lower Hutt Wellington. Surface design, texture and tones from surrounding beaches and hills are consistent inspiration throughout her ceramic practice.
Kirsty’s work is a collection of constantly evolving techniques and creative processes incorporating her skills as a creative professional practicing in various disciplines including textile design, spanning thirty years in Aotearoa, United Kingdom and North America.
