After the announcement of the second level four lockdown I went up to my studio and started a new painting, working on it well into the night.
In the darkness that evening, my new series “Connections” was born. I had wanted to explore this concept for a long time and COVID propelled me into action.
“Connections”or “Keep in Touch ”is about checking in on your friends, family and community.
It signifies how lifting up the phone and talking makes that real interpersonal human connection - like we used to before the digital age of computers, mobile phones and texting.
