Four moissanite gemstones set in sterling silver
Ring size:
Molten, textural sterling silver gathers organically around a scattering of coloured moissanite gemstones, each sitting at its own level and angle as it emerges from the irregular surface. Part of the Wandering Collection, this piece explores the idea that nothing meaningful follows a perfectly straight path. Things collide, change direction and find their place along the way. This ring embraces that unpredictability: raw, imperfect and completely individual.
Leah Firth's work has an organic quality and is largely process driven, with cast-in-place being a key method in her practice. This relatively new technique aligns with the brand ethos of ‘going with the flow’ and embracing imperfection and misalignment, drawing inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. From designing and mould making through to preparation, casting and finishing, each piece is the result of a time-honoured metalsmithing process with a fresh new twist.
