Sapphires, both natural and lab-grown, and moissanites set in sterling silver
Ring size:
Emerald-cut green moissanites sit alongside a natural oval yellow sapphire, a clear round moissanite, two natural blue sapphires and a lab-grown olive sapphire. Each stone feels as though it has found its own place within the irregular silver landscape.
Part of the Wandering Collection, this piece explores the idea that nothing meaningful follows a perfectly straight path. Things collide, change direction and find their place along the way. This ring embraces that unpredictability: raw, imperfect and completely individual.
Leah Firth's work has an organic quality and is largely process driven, with cast-in-place being a key method in her practice. This relatively new technique aligns with the brand ethos of ‘going with the flow’ and embracing imperfection and misalignment, drawing inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. From designing and mould making through to preparation, casting and finishing, each piece is the result of a time-honoured metalsmithing process with a fresh new twist.
