Michelle has been an artist and object maker for as long as she can remember. Majoring in Fine Art at Teacher’s College, she discovered clay to be a wonderfully exciting, expressive medium with limitless possibilities.
In 2001 Michelle became a full-time ceramic artist and completed the Otago Polytechnic Diploma of Visual Arts in Ceramics in 2012. Over the past 22 years she has produced functional ware and sculptural art which sells in exhibitions and galleries around Aotearoa.
