Each medallion is made from the union of two objects, each with prior history and associated place. Fashioned from a collection of pre-loved men’s tie and decorative buttons and found objects. More than a mere embellishment, the decorative is reassigned to construct a ‘decoration of honour’.

This is essentially a tribute to the domestic warrior in our lives - given with love and thanks for the unsung service on the home front.
