Tracy draws inspiration from the beautiful scenery found across the country, with seasonal colours and symbols woven throughout her work, and a level of fine detail that has become her signature.
Artist and illustrator Tracy Watson is a full time working artist and is best known for her illustrative contemporary landscapes which adorn walls all around New Zealand and internationally.
Tracy, who studied computer graphics at The Media Design School in Auckland, frequently applies her skills in her work, including her children's book 'The Epic Animal ABC' published in 2016.
Tracy has visited small towns and rural properties throughout the country for inspiration. She reflects on how fortunate we are here in New Zealand, where a short drive in almost any direction reveals incredible scenery, and how the landscape shifts with the seasons, its colours changing to suit the weather, creating a truly spectacular source of inspiration for an artist.
