Michelle Huizinga is a multi-media sculptor with an affinity for New Zealand's coastal landscape reflected in much of her ceramic work. Michelle captures the beauty of nature and celebrating it in its raw form through porcelain slip casting. She has a passion for using fibres and textiles in her work which has led her to explore the art of marrying rope and stone through her woven vessels.
