Marc Zuckerman’s journey with woodwork and design began after arriving in New Zealand in 1971 as an exploration geologist on the West Coast of the South Island.
Four years later, he declined a company transfer to Australia and instead built his own house, crafting windows, doors, and cabinetry with a friend from the Channel Islands. Through this process, he discovered a deep passion for woodwork and design. Today, together with two skilled craftspeople, he specialises in creating original contemporary woodware using sustainably managed native timber.
