Vega studs are handmade using recycled sterling silver from Sophie's workshop to create one-of-a-kind flat, circular, organic form. Each earring is set with a 1.7mm pink sapphire in its centre.

Each stud measures approximately 7mm in diameter. Due to the handcrafted nature of this style, no two pieces will ever be the same, and will carry minor variations in shape and size.

Sophie is trained in Fine Arts creating nature-inspired pieces and one-off bespoke jewels. Working mainly in sterling silver, gold and precious gems, her aesthetic draws on the delicately flawed beauty of natural forms, and repetitive textures and patterns found in nature.

Each piece is crafted by hand in her Christchurch workshop, as either a one-off or part of limited editions.
