Charlie Maseyk delights in the joy his cups bring to people. He has been participating in the CUP exhibition since 2019, a journey that began when his Granny proudly purchased his very first hand-built cup, crafted at just four years old. In 2020, his Nanni became the proud owner of his second creation, cementing a family tradition of celebrating Charlie's artistry.

Since 2021, Charlie has been collaborating with his potter dad, Paul Maseyk, adding his unique sgraffito drawings to his father's expertly crafted cups. For the 2024 collection, Charlie has decorated his cups with some fan-favorite themes, including dinosaurs, whales, solar systems, mountains, and undersea creatures.

This year’s new designs showcase Charlie's playful creativity. The cup titled HOT playfully suggests it’s perfect for your favourite hot tea or coffee. Stormy Day and Starry Night bring to life whimsical depictions of sun showers, rainbows, and starry skies. Meanwhile, Sweet Treats captures the essence of Charlie’s favourite indulgences as a nine-year-old: ice cream, cake, jelly snakes, and Shrewsbury biscuits.

Charlie’s work is a celebration of imagination and the simple pleasures of life, one cup at a time.
