Zoe Buchanan has been making jewellery since 2000. While studying visual art and design at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology she set up and made jewellery in Lustre Gallery in Nelson with other local jewellers.
She now works from her home in Nelson. Interested in the history, transportation and use of significant herbs and spices, that have become a part of our everyday, she gathers seedpods and spices from her kitchen shelves, garden and walks, collecting inspiration from natural forms or capturing moments in time. She transforms them into beautiful keepsakes that you can wear.
