Anna Bogdanowicz's work is strongly influenced by her background in illustration and family life by the sea. Spending hours on the beaches of Banks Peninsula with her kids, gathering shoreline treasures, swimming and sketching.
Particularly attracted to surface decoration techniques, Anna explores textures, stamping, sgraffito and pencil drawings. She enjoys the contrasts of textures and is constantly exploring the relationship between the form and the illustration. Anna is based in Canterbury.
