Kauri Leaf Earrings
One of the world’s mightiest trees, Kauri can grow to over 50m tall, and live for over 2000 years. Tane Mahuta in Waipoua forest is the largest of these ancient trees, and in Maori mythology is responsible for pushing his Father the Sky, and Mother the Earth apart, allowing light to fall on her, creating life.
