Piwakawaka Feather
A cheeky, inquisitive little bird, the Piwakawaka (New Zealand Fantail) darts swiftly around forest and garden with a welcoming chirrup. In Maori mythology, the Piwakawaka is a messenger between worlds.
Piwakawa Feather Necklace:
Sterling silver fanned-out feathers (2.5cm long). The inner two feathers are handpainted with porcelain paint in bronze tones with white tips. Suspended from a 45cm fine sterling silver chain, with a 5cm extender.
Each feather is individually handpainted, so no two necklaces will be identical.
Reversible (unpainted polished silver on the other side).
