Kawakawa greenstone koru
A Koru pendant hand carved in New Zealand Kawakawa greenstone or Pounamu by master carver Tyson Lynes.
Complete with an adjustable plaited waxed braid cord.
The koru represents the uncurling of the NZ fern frond and symbolises growth and harmony or new beginnings for the wearer.
This is a one of a kind piece by virtue of the amazing greenstone from which it was carved so it will be permanently removed from our gallery when sold.
For thousands of years humans have used greenstone for tools, weapons, adornments, currency and believed in its healing properties.
