Nick’s jewellery is created at the Stone Arrow studio at the Tui community, an international community next to the Abel Tasman National Park at the top of the South Island. This idyllic and inspiring location supports and encourages a creative lifestyle. Today Nick and his wife Sybille and their son’s Theo and Martyn live together and find jewellery making a great way to support their family. Nick has been creating beautiful simple jewellery with real New Zealand character for many years. He loves working with natural materials like paua, beach stones and pounamu.
He states: “I reckon I’m extremely fortunate. I’ve ended up in such a beautiful place and we’re able to earn a living in a creative way. I’m enjoying the challenges of a full life more and more.”
Nick supports reducing, reusing and recycling and gives a percentage of his profits to environmental charities.
